Me as the Red Gnome

I created a character.  It was a red gnome.

My character said, "I don't believe this is the way to stop fighting."  I used a LOUD voice to say that.

I wore red.

I used my body and my face to show drama.

I am a Drama Kid.  I feel good to be a Drama Kid, because I like acting.

How to you build a character?

12 Things to Do in a Big Humongous Snow Storn

Yesterday, we had a big storm.  It started slow and gentle.  When it was falling, we play in it.  We also helped clean the cars.

By nighttime, it was hard snow and wind.  Then, it became big snow and hard snow.  The electricity went out.  In the morning, we ran and stood in front of the door in front of the big snow.  It was big, big... up to my legs.

We asked Mommy and Daddy if we could go outside.  They said we could.  We trampled in the snow, sat and played.  And, we shoveled, and when we shoveled, we actually played in it, too, and made pits.

We climbed hills, rolled, had snowball fights and sledded on a new hill in our yard.

Here are some things you can do in the snow:
  1. You can climb up mountains of snow.
  2. You can make snowballs for a big snowman.
  3. You can make a table for little birdies in the snow.  You put birdseed on it.
  4. You can make huts and forts.
  5. You can make snow angels.
  6. You can help shovel.
  7. You can put snow on your head.
  8. You can color snowmen by putting dye in water and spraying it from a bottle onto the snowman.
  9. You can jump in the snow.
  10. You can run, run, run and catch snow on your tongue.
  11. You can make snow creatures and trees.
  12. You can swing on branches covered in snow and make snow things to put on the branches.

Bye-bye.

What is your favorite thing to do in the snow?  Please comment.

My First Post Ever

Hello.  My name is Nina.  This is a picture of me creating a scene of St. Anne.

I like to craft and to paint and to make stuff.  That's the point of this blog.  To share my ideas.

Now, here is some stuff that I do that you can do, too.  Okay?

  1. Draw pictures of smiling, at a beach, with the sun so bright and the water so cool.
  2. Make bags and purses out of folded paper, tape and crayons.  Or, you can use a different things, like markers, or paint, or colored pencils.
  3. Make Valentines.  To make Valentines, use a folded piece of paper and make hearts inside it.  First, write the person's name and your name.  Then, make decorations all over it and make it pretty.  Then, write words as to what the things are.  Then, make little pictures and give it to a person when it's done on Valentine's Day.
Please leave a comment at the end of the blog about what you want me to do, and I will do it for you, because I am a kid that likes to help.
